Fresh-caught seafood cooked right on the Patenga beach in Chittagong. Kalam Majhi and his brothers have been grilling and frying fresh fish, prawn, and squid from the Bay of Bengal since 2002. Catch of the day changes daily.
Schedule
As a Chittagong person, I judge seafood harshly. Sea Bhai passes with flying colours. The grilled rupchanda is as fresh as it gets — they caught it this morning.
Drove from Dhaka to Chittagong and this was worth the drive. The prawn fry is enormous and perfectly seasoned.
The seafood platter for 2 is amazing value. Fresh, grilled on the beach, eaten looking at the sea. Perfect evening.
